THE SHED
The Shed is a small fitness studio in uptown Minneapolis. And they make you sweat so much that you'll surely have a massive "sweat-beard" by the time you leave. And so, the sweat-beard social media contest was born. This campaign won an IAC award for best small business campaign, cost a whopping $850 to create.
We kicked off the promotion with a series of posters placed around the gym, asking people to upload their sweatbeard pics in exchange for a 3-month membership. And oh yeah, we got to design some fun shirts.
Did it work? Sure did. The Shed increased sales 17% over the previous September. And we got a 284% return on our initial investment.
